“A recent study by IDATE shows that 16 Latin American countries have 3.65 million FTTH subscribers and 20.1 million homes passed by fiber optic networks,” confirmed Al Nuñez, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at ETI Software. “Most of these countries are still early in their deployment of high-speed broadband networks, so the potential is significant as national providers and smaller players are deploying in targeted markets.”
